Technology, Entertainment and Design (TED)

WOW

I went to http://www.ted.com/ recently. Very interesting, very cerebral and very entertaining.

A whole host of successful people, from various backgrounds (journalists, economists, politicians, scientists, singers...and probably more than a few Star Children) gathered together for the TED conference, giving a series of talks. I have only had time to watch a few, fortunately post on the net at the above link, but they are really inspiring. Nourishment for both brain and soul. Probably obvious, but I have been won over.

Came across it via twitter actually, which I am starting to really enjoy. Great to have insights into others' lives, both joe bloggs and celebrities. The world is shrinking. The global community, as a concept, as a reality, is becoming more tangible every day.
