A Blogger Busy? Yes! Oh, And An Eartquake Too

Yeah, it happens to us all.

Life!

This last week or so I have had so many plans, but they have not came to fruition.

I had a billion ideas for posts, which I didn't write down, and have now forgotten most of them. DOH!

Life just gets in the way.

There have been a few projects I have been working on too. I might tell you more about them soon...maybe...possibly...

And have been reading so many blogs, I have been dizzy. I love connecting with people, reading their thoughts and their experiences. There are so many interesting people out there.

I have hardly made any comments on people's blogs, though. But I have been trying my best to read all your posts, especially of my favourite blogs, of which there are a few (in case you happen to read this, I have not forgotten you).

Among other things, I was at the Vet this week. All three of my gorgeous cats have had yet more injections for all sorts of things I can't pronounce.

CC had her desexing surgery. It seemed to go well, but for a few days after, she has dry wretched on and off. She hasn't been sick. She has continued to eat, do the toilet and show interest in and play with the other cats. So I am happy that she isn't ill. I suppose she has had surgery, and a couple of days is not much in the scheme of things.

I still have a few things to do, so if I don't comment or post as frequently, please don't hate me ;-)

Oh, nearly forgot! We had an earthquake last night.

I said, "  EARTHQUAKE".

A real one. In Adelaide. We don't get them in Scotland. So I am all excited.

It measured 3.8 (that will mean something to those of you accustomed to such things). It happened at 11.27pm and lasted for a whopping 15 seconds.

Now, when this happened, I was in the "study" with Sam. He was educating me on computer stuff, like what a Hard Drive is, and what Gigabytes and Megabytes are, and what RAM is, and so on.

It was all very interesting...and then the house shook.

The cats ran off.

I could still hear and feel it after the intial WHAM, so I thought it was maybe a plane or a huge lorry...but not an earthquake. Oh my!

Small, mild tremors are relatively common around this area, but I saw in an online news report that this is probably the biggest earthquake for over 20 years here in Adelaide. More "activity" along the fault line can't be ruled out. The earthquake was felt up to 100 kilometres away.

I live in a place where they have earthquakes! How cool is that?!

Oh my gosh!!! Are you kidding me, your excited for earthquakes?? I'd be not so happy to have one here and we are on a fault no less. NO THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! At least you enjoyed your 15 seconds! Tammy

Oh my, all these earthquakes and volcanos. 2012 is totally gonna be the end of it all.

It's a novelty for me at the moment Tammy, so it is kinda cool! Once the death and destruction gets underway it won't be too great.

Well, Angie, you might have something there. I don't think we will all die, though. Just a lot of us... ;-)

Oh, dear! Well, if you add a lot of snow, snakes, wind, tornadoes, and earthquakes...it would be like living in the western US...or just Wyoming. LOL.

It woke me up! Seriously.....I freaked, thinking Charlie and his cast had tumbled out of bed or something........but an earthquake ffs?!

Momma, I hope one day I will get the chance to visit the U.S.A. Would be wonderful!

Lucy, must have been a worry for you, with kids.

Amazing, though. Apparently there might be more of the same, on the way.
