A great friend had a birthday at the weekend, and invited us along to her party. It was wonderful.
Absolutley wonderful.
There was a 60's theme and everyone made the effort (apart from us), to dress in wigs and costumes.
The atmosphere was brilliant. Everyone seemed to have an ACE time.
I was even introduced to Frangelico. Yum.

He came home from work yesterday, having "misplaced" it. We searched his car. Under the seats, in the glove box....everywhere.
We searched the car park he had kept his car in while at work. We searched all around the area where he works. We asked at local shops if anyone had handed a wallet in. He went back to his place of work, and searched again.
Eventually we started making all those calls you have to make in such a situation. Bank cards were cancelled. I called the police station (in the ongoing hope that humankind are not all self serving cretins) thinking someone may have handed it in.
All to no avail.
Then (...oh yes...) Sam, today, went to advise the local driving licence authorities about his lost licence. He was told he would have to pay a fee for a replacement, which he hadn't expected. So he went back to his car to get some cash....and there was his wallet. On the driver's seat. On the driver's seat!
I'll say it again.
On the driver's seat.
Of course I jump to the ghost and alien type explanations (darn my magical thinking), but what else can I think? I will let you make up your own mind what you think happened.

I am looking forward to the weekend so much. Friends from the UK are over travelling in Oz and will be in beautiful Adelaide for a few days. It will be lovely to see them and catch up. Sometimes 10,000 miles seems so far away, other times it really doesn't seem all that far away at all.

I wish mother and son both well.
Dannii, sister of Kylie, has also had some success as a singer, but is better known for being a judge on such TV shows as The X Factor and Australian Idol.
Well don Dannii. Congratulations.
And I wanted to share one of my favourite Dannii songs with you. Enjoy.

A chance to dress up and you didn't? Trés mal!
Sounds like a good time ahead with all the friends coming to visit. :¬)
We were only given a few days notice, and were both working all week...so didn't get the chance to look for costumes.
This coming weekend will be FAB.
In regards to the wallet mistery - I had the exact same thing happen to me. Turned out it had come out of my pocket and slid beteween the seats!
I thought I lost my bank card once and called, had it cancelled, had to wait over a week for a new card, then found my old card in my coat pocket! Arrrggghh!
Neoprimal, we had checked everywhere, and then when all hope was gone it appeared. Mmmmmm...
ETW, had you checked your pocket beforehand? I still blame the ghosties...
