As part of my blog I thought I would include an ongoing "Dream Diary", giving you guys further insight into the mind of David.
I shouldn't think it will be too scary.
I had written before about my experiences with Lucid Dreams, here, but I really haven't been paying my dreams too much attention in recent times. As a result I haven't been remembering many of them, and don't believe I have had a lucid dream for a very long time.
Including a narrative of my night-time excursions here should hopefully encourage my mind to be more aware, developing my dream recall and hopefully increasing the chances of dreaming lucidly. And you guys might catch a glimpse into what makes me tick.
So, here goes with my first dream post in what should hopefully be a revealing and interesting series.
Dream Diary
27/12/2011
I dreamt I was at work. I am preparing paperwork for a patient, who is to be admitted to the ward the next day.
There are two ladies in a four bed bay. They are having a chat and one woman says she is from Dundee, back in Scotland. I start to talk with her, telling her how I am from Scotland and how my family is spread across many areas of the country, including Dundee.
The lady tells me she knew an "Iris Samson" in Dundee. In the dream I feel I must be related to this woman, even though in "real life" I don't know anyone by that name.
I then notice the woman I'm speaking to has an eye with two colours, one half green, one half blue.
That's where the dream fades.
It might just be a notice from my subconscious telling me I'm a little homesick, but...
Your dream interpretations are invited. What do you think it means?
