Our Sickly Car

We haven’t managed to get to Adelaide Zoo, or any wild life reserve yet.

Our car has been sickly. It was considered that the car may require palliative care.

The power seemed to come and go, a few days ago. I bought a bike so I had a means of getting to my work, should the worst happen.

Biking to my work was a terrible chore. The road to my work is up hill. It is a gentle incline, but it was not too gentle on my legs. I am not fit! I had to get off and walk half way. It was fun on the way home, though.

Then the car was revived, and had a new lease of life. So, with me being as lazy as I am, I asked Sam to run me to work, save me the exertion of biking it.

Of course, life being what it is, the car gave up, not quite making it to my work. The car broke down. It was clear the car broke down, right in the middle of a main road. But someone still had to beep, and let their annoyance be known! How ridiculous.

Following a brief visit to a local garage, the car, again, was revived. Tonight, however, the car died. I am not sure if there is much chance of a further miracle. We have had a lot of luck so far, on our Oz adventure, so who knows?!

Should a miracle not be forthcoming, we will just have to save hard and buy a new car.
