Rainy Day - We Went To The Adelaide Museum

We had planned to go to the zoo, or one of the many reservations here, to see the variety of flora and fauna in Australia.

We have been meaning to go, since we arrived here. Our plans were once again dashed, as it poured for both of my days off. The car also is unwell at the moment, and may need a car doctor sooner rather than later. However, he is a fighter, and is holding on in there.

So, with the weather not being typically Australian, (though seemingly typical of Adelaide), we decided to look indoors, for entertainment.

Adelaide has an abundance of "things to do and see", with culture being a priority.

We went along to the local museum. There are exhibitions for gems, sea life, animals of the planet, Aboriginal art, history and culture and much much more. I have included some photographs to give you a hint of what was on offer.

I hope to visit Adelaide Zoo, and a wild life reserve soon. So expect some Koala cuddling pics!

Enjoy.

I am sure I went to school with some of these individuals.

I really like this piece. There is something about a face that tells it's own story. This work uses that. The impact is much fuller in person.

This is Sam, captivated and deep in thought.

Yeah, I see the similarity too...

Oh wow, thanks Lucy.

Yeah, I liked it.

I have a friend coming over from the UK in a few months, so will take her, and so get to see all the new stuff.
