Pharmaceutical multinationals, the American Food & Drug Administration and the American Medical Association have successfully put pressure on governments to prevent B17 (Laetrile) from being freely available to people.
It is all about profit. Money can be made easily from people who are scared, ill and dying.
B17 is believed to prevent cancer. When ingested, there is a complex process involving the B17, in the presence of cancer, which is essentially selective toxicity. The cancer is destroyed. This happens when small quantities of cyanide are released from the B17 again only in the presence of cancer. A natural chemotherapy.
Rhodanese, an enzyme found in the human body, protects healthy cells from the toxicity.
There are secluded populations in the world, with staple diets rich in B17. Their development of cancer is greatly reduced, if present at all (for example the Hunza). Cancer can be seen as a B17 deficiency disease. Is this the infamous Illuminati at work, or simply greed and power corrupting our global society?
Governments make money from taxes on tobacco products, which in turn cause cancer. This leads to greater profit, via research grants, prescription charges and treatment bills. Employment levels are improved as more people have jobs that would not exist if people were not sick.
Interestingly, nicotine is known to be addictive. It is regulated, manageable and profitable, so although people die from this addiction, it is legal. Other drugs, less socially manageable and less easily regulated, are illegal. These other substances are coincidentally more difficult for corporations and governments to profit from.
Sickness, cancer or otherwise, is an economic stimulus in its own right. Particularly relevant with the recent global recession.
B17 is just one element of a larger conspiracy theory, that cures for cancer and other major diseases are deliberately being witheld. Why would someone choose to end an entire industry with a cure, when they can have salaries, benefits and pensions by creating treatments?
