I noticed I have written 100 posts on Views Of A Star Child.
I think that is definately a mile stone in the blogging world. perhaps it is a minor one, but it is special for me.
So, how could I mark this mile stone? I wanted to do something special. I suppose my first video uploaded to my Views Of A Star Child channel on YouTube, as posted on post 100, is kinda special. But what else could I do?
Well, recently a fellow blogger had posted about what people wanted to do as a child - "...Did this childhood goal match what you eventually had for a career, job or life?"
I had commented that I remembered desparately wanting to be an actor. I participated in my school's productions. I was a member of the local amateur dramatics club. We did a lot of theatrical productions, and performed them all around our region. I was even a member of my school's debating and public speaking society (Geek Alert!) Anything to be on stage and "perform".
Then real life creeps in through your pores and dreams are left to gather dust.
Although....Never say never....
I thought, to mark my 100 posts, and to acknowledge my dream, I would post 100 films that made me, and still make me, want to be a part of the hardest business in the world.
This is just a sample of the films (not in any particular order) that I find special -

Congrats on your 100th post! It is definitely a milestone, those are some good movies too, my faves out of your list are The Color Purple, Forrest Gump, all of the Matrix movies, The Green Mile, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, Indiana Jones (all of them), The Truman Show, Toy Story, The Sphere, Labyrinth (David Bowie is soooo HOT in that one!!! Sorry you probably don't look at him like that LOL)...
I also love The 5th Element, Powder, and a few others that I can't remember right now. :)
Wretha
Congrats...wait, clueless? really? :)
Wretha, hi. No, David Bowie isn't my cup of tea, but he is a hero of mine! The 5th element is an excellent excellent film. Bruce Willis is also a favourite of mine.
Hi Tread Softly, lol. Yeah, clueless! A lot of comic genius in that film, honest. You might just have forgot. Maybe try watching it again... LMAO
