I just realised yesterday, that I have been blogging for 18 months.
What?! How the hell did that happen?
Time flies when you are having fun... But apparently, it's true. My posts on "Views" started in June 2008. Either "Blogger" has a glitch, or I am really that old. They say time speeds past quicker, the older you get. Looks like it won't be long til Christmas swings around again. Scary!
The only reason I realised, was because I have been looking at my blog, with a view to jazzing it up a little.
I thought, for example, a whole page about myself, and how to get in touch with me, would be better than some comments squeezed in on the side bar.
But "blogger" doesn't allow pages, the way certain other forums do. But I like "blogger", so here I stay.
There is always a way, where there is a will. So, now, there is a "static page", of sorts, that can be linked to through the side bar. I think it looks better than having a million and one things crammed into a tiny space.
Afterall, a blog is not just about what you have to say, but how you say it. Presentation is very important.
I have tried to tidy up "Views" a little. It looks better already.
If you guys have any suggestions, they would be much appreciated.
18 months is not really that long in the blogosphere, I know. If you keep a blog, how long have you been blogging for? Do you still enjoy it? Do you have tips to share? If you didn't blog, what else would you do?

Also? I see you have comment approval on your blog. Only big bloggers need that because they get so many comments that not all of them are nice.
But in your case? Not needed. Because if someone looks at your comments now, in the middle of the night my time (2:00 am L.A.)they will see you have zero comments and be reluctant to leave one of their own.
People only want to go where the popular kids go!
Good advice as usual Suzy. Have taken off the comment moderation.
I get what you are saying about commenting on other blogs. It is about being a real part of the community.
Thank you.
I'm recently new to the blogging world and am finding it extremely addictive! I can (and do) spend hours visiting other people's blogs and finding new blogs to read via their blog rolls. It's a fascinating world, highly voyeuristic and always entertaining!
Thanks for your comment Kelly.
Yeah, I love blogging too. It's more than a hobby. It's yet another obsession!
I am in Adelaide too. I wonder how our views of this city match up? So far...I love it!
