Vet Visit With Pru, CC and Teddy

Just a quick update...

Today we went along to the Vet with Pru, CC and Teddy. I am happy to report it was a wonderful success.

They have all had preventative treatments for fleas and worms. They have also had various vaccines. Apparently Feline HIV is prolific in my area, and so they have started a course to protect them from that as well.

Poor CC has had to get medicated ear drops, due to a waxy build up and a small infection.

All three of the cats were very well behaved. I was pleasantly surprised.

I suspected Pru would put up a bit of a fight, especially when her temperature was being taken...not pleasant for animals as this is done via the anus...

But she was a star!

We have booked CC in for de-sexing (Pru has already had this done) in a few weeks time. Then, in four or so months, it will be Teddy's turn.

It really is kinder to have them all de-sexed. Too many cats and kittens are destroyed due to being unwanted.

So they are all up to date with their treatments, and all are doing well.

CC's ear drop treatment should only take a few weeks, and then will have a completely clean bill of health.

I am glad it went well today. It cost a fortune, though. I don't grudge it, at all. I just thought, as I juggled cats, specially prescribed diet products, medicated ear drops, dental chews etc, that "Pets" is where the money is.

We "owners" will pay anything for our loved ones.
