Recipe: Toblerone Cheesecake

I want to share with you a fantastic recipe for cheesecake, and who doesn't like cheesecake?!

Sam was given the recipe by a friend, and after following her instructions, produced one of the best desserts I have ever tasted.

If you like creating tasty treats of your own and have a spare 20 minutes, give it a go.

Here is what you need:

Base

200 grams of chocolate biscuits or cookies
75 grams of melted butter

Filling

250 grams of cream cheese (we used Philadelphia)
300 ml of cream (thickened)
300 grams of Toblerone
1/4 cup ( about 60 ml) of icing sugar

Method

1. Crush the biscuits, add melted butter and mix. Press this into a family sized baking tin.

2. Whip cream, until it forms soft peaks.

3. Cream the cream cheese.

4. Melt the chocolate (Toblerone). Fold this together with the icing sugar and cream cheese.

5. Now fold the cream into the mixture.

6. Pour it all on the biscuit base.

7. Place in the fridge to set, and add grated chocolate to serve.

Well that's it! It couldn't be more simple. If you try the recipe, let me know how it turned out.

Happy eating!

Mmmmm! What is icing sugar? Like powdered or confectioner's sugar? I'm gonna have to google a conversion chart for the measurements! LOL.
