Well, how did your Halloween go?
We didn't do anything to celebrate it this year. We were just two very boring grown ups watching some episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Well, that is kinda appropriate. And also kinda sad...
I feel terrible though. Last year no one came "trick or treating". So this year we didn't bother buying any treats. Well, as you can no doubt guess, some kids came and knocked on the door.
What's worse is we didn't answer. We just kept quiet til they left. We had nothing to give them.
I don't think they would have appreciated a box of cereal, or a tube of toothpaste.
Next year I will be more prepared.

In other news, if you didn't know, it is almost Christmas! It must be. I just got home this morning and the TV is running ad after ad for toys and so on and so forth. Yes ladies and gentlemen, we have less than 8 weeks to go. The countdown has begun.
I haven't a clue what I am buying for anyone. For Sam, I try the technique of asking him, frankly, bluntly, painfully, what he wants this year. And every year it's the same answer - "I don't know".
He has everything you could imagine a man wants. I think it may have happened, I am out of ideas...
I might just have to give him some DVD and CD shaped parcels. Mmmmmm.
Any suggestions? What do you buy for those in your life who have it all? Ha!
