Teddy - Coming Of Age

There comes a time in every young man's life when he starts to feel certain urges.

Nature takes it's own course. We know this. Hormones run wild. Feelings are apt to being volatile and explosive.

Teddy is no different.

He is approximately 9 months old now, and for the last few weeks I have witnessed some of his behaviours escalate.

I will spare him, and maintain discretion. Afterall, young men are often sensitive about such...developments.

And so, we find ourselves faced with a decision. An important one. An easy one.

Today, Teddy is having surgery. He will return home, de-testicalated.

Teddy will no longer be a Full Tom. But he will be happier for it.

And so will CC and Pru.

I have spoke previously about cats and having them desexed. I won't go on about it at great length. However, it's beneficial, I believe, to them, to your household and to society and the environment. Unless you are a registered and responsible breeder, consider desexing your cat seriously.

I expect him to come home walking a little off kilter, but I have confidence he will make a quick recovery. He is made of tough stuff.

And I think you will all agree that he is one of the most handsome cats ever to be featured on a blog, if not in the whole world. If you know differently you are welcome to challenge this assumption.

I put it down to the love I give him.

He is indeed a handsome fellow.
Good on ya, having him {cough} neutered, he's much better off for it.
I must add, my Oliver cat is equally as handsome :)

Poor little fella i would say i feel sorry for him but rather him than me.

As for him being better of for it? I think its perhaps everyone else who will be better of for it

Hi guys. He is better off. He won't have to feel frustrated and distressed, because he won't have "those" feelings any more.
