In Scotland I also had 4 dogs, Ben, Jeri, Arran and Astrid.
Animal welfare is important to me. We humans are intelligent enough to be able to share our planet in both a dynamic and peaceful way - and yet some choose not to.
This leads, in many different ways, to animals needing rescued and cared for.

Having had to rely on good people to adopt my dogs back home,
I know better than most how important it is to find good, reliable
people who will love and care for animals.

Thank you.

Couldn't agree more we need to look after the small furrys, unlike some big furrys like cows!
I man have you ever looked at a cow? It wants to be eaten.
I eat fish and chicken, no red meat for me. I'm practically a vegetarian.
I'm sure I must be in the queue for my halo. It's a lot of work being this good. Sheesh!
We just had our black lab put down in January at age 14.
We just can't take on any new pets at this time mainly because we are never home but it still tears me up to think of the loving little critters in the shelters.
Kudos to anyone who can take a shelter dog in. Forget the designer dogs and the pocket pooches. Change a shelter dog's life and yours.
Oh Lori, I'm sorry. It isn't easy.
Our four legged friends really are family.
Stay strong. xx
