Not Long Now

I received confirmation of my registration as a nurse in Australia.

I am another step closer. I am now recognised as a nurse by Australia. My visa application can now begin. I realised a while ago that emigrating is mostly about waiting.

Waiting for references. Waiting for medicals. Waiting for assessment of my qualifications. Waiting for confirmation of my registration as a nurse in the UK by the NMC to be sent to OZ.

I am getting good at it. The thing is, I might not have that much longer to wait. Apparently the standard processing time for the type of visa I am applying for is only four weeks. Sometimes much quicker.

I may be in Australia in a month or so. Wow!

So, for now, I just need to wait...
